Echele Ganas: A Life Left Behind is the recent project of photographer Laurence Salzmann, depicting the residents of Sierra Norte de Puebla, Mexico. The exhibition describes the lives left behind by Mexican workers living in Philadelphia, revealing their pride in their cultural heritage, as well as the rapid changes occurring within the rural Mexican villages of their origins. Echele Ganas gives voice to a people and a lifestyle largely invisible to mainstream America.
